Milverton, ON – Saturday, August 13, 2022 – After two years of delays, the NASCAR Pinty’s Series is finally set to make its debut on dirt at Ohsweken Speedway on Tuesday, August 16th.
The Pinty’s 100 on this ⅜-mile dirt track in Ohsweken, Ontario is sure to be an eventful race. Alex Tagliani and Treyten Lapcevich will be joined by Stewart Friesen in his No. 22 Mister Transmission Chevrolet Camaro.
Currently in the 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s Series points standings Alex Tagliani holds fifth position, and Treyten Lapcevich is tied for eighth.
Coming off of a fifth place finish in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Lapcevich and his No. 20 FBM / RGC Sports / Qwick Wick Chevrolet Camaro are ready to get back to an oval. With his oval racing background and his maturity behind the wheel, Lapcevich will definitely be a top contender at this event.
After coming just one spot short of a podium finish in Trois-Rivières, Alex Tagliani and his No. 18 Viagra / St Hubert Chevrolet Camaro are coming to Ohsweken on a mission. Another podium finish to go with his victory at Sutherland Automotive Speedway is just what Tagliani is searching for.
Canadian Stewart Friesen is taking a quick stop from his busy schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to come race with the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
