TORONTO, ONTARIO – The Raceline Radio Network, Canada’s National Radio Motorsport Authority, working their 31st season in 2023, is looking forward to another appearance at the 8th Annual Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, March 10, 11 and 12 at The International Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
Raceline Radio Network anchor and Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer Erik Tomas will once again team up with fellow Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer, Raceline Radio Network co-founder and Pro Modified Racing Association principal Bruce Mehlenbacher for a one-hour Raceline Radio Network podcast from The Racing Zone stage at Motorama, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.
“That groundhog guy is inaccurate! The Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo is the only sure sign of spring where we come from,” stated Raceline Radio Network anchor Erik Tomas. “Greg MacPherson and our Inside Track Motorsport News partners have assembled another record-shattering Expo this year, with a dazzling collection of custom cars, race cars, celebrities and attractions second to none in Canada!
“Bruce Mehlenbacher and I look forward to another no-rules podcast on the Racing Zone stage. Nothing beats a live audience. Bruce’s drag racing tales and war stories are fascinating and simply too much fun,” Tomas added.
“I always look forward to The Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, seeing racers and friends,” said Bruce Mehlenbacher. “Erik Tomas and I have been friends forever and I truly appreciate him including me on the Raceline Radio Network broadcast. Our passion for motorsport was the catalyst that started Raceline 31 years ago and I am proud of Erik for being the driving force behind it for all of these years.”
“We’re excited to have Raceline Radio’s Erik Tomas back at Motorama! Erik has supported the show since day one and even further back to the Canadian Motorsports Expo days,” offered Motorama Show Manager Greg MacPherson.
“He’ll be talking to long-time friend, associate and fellow Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer Bruce Mehlenbacher again on the Stoneridge Stage in the Racing Zone. I was able to watch Erik and Bruce’s podcast last year and it was very informative and engaging. I know Bruce has more news this year and Erik is just the guy to spread the word,” MacPherson continued.

About the Pro Modified Racing Association:
Founded in Cayuga, Ontario in 2005, by Bruce Mehlenbacher, the Pro Modified Racing Association (PMRA) has grown into one of the strongest Pro Modified drag racing series in this popular class. It features a solid contingent of teams, at some of the best facilities in Eastern Canada and the United States. Featuring Pro Modified cars, often referred to as “door-slammers,” and turning speeds of over 200 mph in the eighth-mile, Pro Modifieds are the fastest class of drag cars with working doors. Pro Modifieds are purpose-built race cars, cloaked in replica street car bodies, and range in style from the 1930’s to the present day. The PMRA has been a major player in the Pro Modified ranks and has produced some of the best racing in North America, with top cars and drivers doing battle on drag strips in Ontario, Quebec, New York, Michigan and Maryland. In 2023, the PMRA, along with the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association (NEOPMA), will present the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Challenge events at Empire Dragway, in Leicester, NY.
