June 14, 2018 // Toronto, Ontario, Canada- The Raceline Radio Network, Canada’s only nationally syndicated motorsport radio program and Canada’s National Radio Motorsport Authority, is delighted to announce Subaru Canada has signed another contract renewal with The Raceline Radio Network as the Presenting Sponsor for 2018.
The contract extension marks the 26th consecutive season Subaru Canada and The Raceline Radio Network have partnered together to cover motorsport across Canada and around the world.
The partnership will continue to deliver the Subaru message to consumers and motorsport fans with targeted campaigns for Subaru’s top-selling high performance brands, The WRX, WRX STI and BRZ.
“As we have been for the last 25 years, we continue to be really excited as we renew our long-standing partnership with The Raceline Radio Network into season 26. The programming, show content, and Erik’s entertaining and energetic delivery style fits so well with the overall excitement of our WRX, WRX STI and BRZ models, so we’re very pleased to be renewing the relationship,” stated Subaru Canada Advertising Manager Don Gill.
Raceline Radio Network’s co-founder, anchor and producer Erik Tomas is thrilled to have Subaru continue as the Presenting Sponsor of The Raceline Radio Network, marking 26 years on the air together.
“When it comes to national radio syndication, our relationship with Subaru Canada is extremely rare! Subaru has been with us since day-one, all 26 years and counting. They’re more like family than business partners with a solid, long lasting friendship. Their world-wide success in rallying, scoring 13 Manufacturer’s Championships in The Canadian Rally Championship confirms their WRX and WRX STI brands continue to be consistent winners. With rallying getting headline coverage on The Raceline Radio Network, the Subaru success story is broadcast to car-buyers across Canada. Subaru sales numbers continue to set records and we continue to be very proud to contribute to that success! A huge thank you goes out to Vice President, Product Management, Marketing & Customer Experience Ted Lalka, Director of Marketing and Brand Management Cynthia Bouris, Advertising Manager Don Gill, Advertising Coordinator Sara Pimentel and everyone at Subaru for their loyal support of The Raceline Radio Network. Together we celebrate more than a quarter century of selling high-demand, high performance automobiles to Canadians in record numbers!”
