April 25, 2022 // Toronto, Ontario, Canada- The Raceline Radio Network, Canada’s National Radio Motorsport Authority, celebrating their 30th Anniversary on the air in 2022 is looking very much forward to two appearances at The 7th Annual Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo April 29th through May 1st at the International Centre Toronto, across from Pearson International Airport.
Raceline Radio Network anchor and Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer Erik Tomas will once again take part in the “Meet the Media” panel on Saturday April 30th from 12 Noon to 1 PM on the Motorama stage.
The “Meet the Media” panel is always a high-energy, animated and entertaining discussion among some of Canadian motorsports’ leading journalists, critics and specialists tackling the current issues and headlines in the sport as they field questions from fans in the audience.
Following the “Meet the Media” panel, Tomas will then team up with fellow Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer, Raceline Radio Network co-founder, and Pro Modified Racing Association principal Bruce Mehlenbacher for a one hour Raceline Radio Network podcast from The Racing Zone stage at Motorama that same afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
“First of all it’s fantastic to see Motorama back after two seasons of Covid calamity! Greg MacPherson and the boys at Inside Track Motorsport News have been our friends and partners since we started Raceline Radio 30 years ago! It’s wonderful to be part of the biggest show of its kind in Canada again,” stated Raceline Radio Network anchor Erik Tomas. “The Meet the Media panel is always a great time bouncing theories back and forth with our media colleagues going face-to-face with the fans,” Tomas added. “The Raceline Radio Network podcast with Bruce Mehlenbacher will be a definite highlight of our anniversary celebrations! Bruce is a co-founder of the Raceline Radio Network, plus the stories he can tell about his history at Dragway Park Cayuga, Cayuga Speedway and his work with the Pro Modified Racing Association will make for an outstanding podcast! Heck we could probably use two hours,” Tomas concluded.
“I am looking forward to attending this year’s Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo. It has been a few years since I have had the opportunity,” said Bruce Mehlenbacher. “And to be included with Erik Tomas and The Raceline Radio Network podcast is a thrill. Celebrating the 30th Anniversary is an amazing accomplishment. Erik is the heart and soul of the production. Thirty years ago Raceline Radio was ahead of its time and continues to deliver as Canada’s National Radio Motorsport Authority,” Mehlenbacher added.
