MILLGROVE, ON – Taking the lead on Lap 30, Trent Stephens did not look back en route to winning the May 16 ISMA Supermodified event at Flamboro Speedway. Starting on the second row, Stephens quickly worked his way into the runner-up position before making the decisive pass for the lead on Lap 30. From there, he paced the remainder of the event to secure the checkered flag.
Tyler Shullick charged forward to finish second, ahead of Anthony Nocella, Mike Ordway Jr., and Brandon Bellinger. Canadian Mark Sammut ran inside the top-10 throughout to finish sixth, followed by Camden Proud, Dan Connors Jr., Adrian Stahle, and Rich Reid. Mike McVetta, Moe Lilje, Lou Levea Jr., Junior Farrelly, and Jeff Abold rounded out the field.

2025 T.Q. Can-Am Midget Champion Daniel Hawn has started the season strongly, taking the lead in the opening laps of the 25-lap feature and driving to victory. Jeff Blackburn ran second throughout, followed by Darren McLennan, Jayden Riddell, and Dominique Smith. Tyler Cullen finished sixth, with James Stanley, Adam Racine, Mike Westwood, and Alex Connell completing the top-10. Sherri Hogan and Jody Bound rounded out the field. Riddell and Hawn split the heat wins.
Jason Keen kept the momentum going, earning his third consecutive Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modified feature victory after taking the lead on Lap 7. TJ Marshall advanced to finish second, ahead of Mike Podd, Jordan Ramsbottom, and Ty Riopelle. Jeremy Riopelle came through to sixth, followed by Chris Pendlebury, Scott Tonelli, Dave Evison Sr., and Steve Murdoch. Alexandria Ditner, Steve Lyons, Dustin Hood, and Cam Thomson completed the field.
In the second feature, Ty Riopelle wasted no time, taking the lead on Lap 2 en route to a dominant victory to open his season. Jason Keen continued his consistent run with a second-place finish, followed by Steve Murdoch, Jeremy Riopelle, and TJ Marshall. Mike Podd was sixth, ahead of Chris Pendlebury, Alexandria Ditner, and Cam Thomson. A first-lap incident sidelined several drivers, including Jordan Ramsbottom, Dave Evison Sr., and Dustin Hood.
The Southern Ontario Modified Association opened its season Saturday at Flamboro, with Mark Lucas capturing the first checkered flag of the year ahead of Robert Mercer, Riley Mercer, Vic Devries, Jesse Gibson, Michael Baker, Ken Mercer, Glen Morrison, and Brad Maitland.
Robert Mercer answered back by dominating the second feature, finishing ahead of Lucas, Riley Mercer, Devries, Baker, Ken Mercer, Morrison, and Maitland.
Next Race – The next event at Flamboro Speedway is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, featuring the Don Biederman Memorial for the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Models presented by Just Foam It, the Brian McLean Memorial for the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifieds, the Bill Zardo Memorial for The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive, and the Ontario Pro Challenge Series.
