Hamilton, ON (May 30, 2017)- The learning experience has officially begun for Wally Wilson this season, as he made his first laps behind the wheel of his modified at Flamboro Speedway.
He started off the night carefully, taking some time to get used to the car before pushing it, scoring a fourth and a seventh in his pair of heats.
Starting the 30-lap feature in 14th, he avoided the first lap slip-up at the front of the field to move up into the 12th spot. From there on, he carefully continued to make laps, pushing as hard as he felt comfortable, en route to a 12th place finish.
The learning experience will continue for Wilson this coming Friday night on June 2 at Kawartha Speedway. Gates open at 5pm, with racing kicking off at 7pm.
Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by Have1.com and The Fyre Place & Patio Shop this season.
