Hamilton, ON (May 30, 2017)- ADAMS Motorsports has some early momentum this OSCAAR season as they were able to leave Flamboro Speedway with a top-five finish.
Luke Gignac was quick from the start of the night, winning the opening heat of the season, followed by a third in the second heat.
Starting seventh in the feature, Gignac escaped the slip-up at the front of the field on the opening lap to gain two spots and move up to fifth. While he slipped back a couple positions in the next couple laps, he was able to regain them back and run fifth as of Lap 19 when the second caution.
While he tried to make a move on Cory Horner for fourth in the closing stages, he was unable to complete the pass, crossing the finish line in fifth.
Gignac and ADAMS Motorsports will be back in action this coming weekend at Kawartha Speedway on Friday, June 2. Gates open at 5pm with racing starting at 7pm.
