(October 13, 2017)- Despite trouble at every turn in a wreck filled feature, Wally Wilson avoided each of the wrecks en route to a top-15 finish.
Wilson started off the weekend by finishing seventh in his first heat, followed by an eighth in his second qualifier.
Starting 23rd in the feature, he avoided the wrecks through the first seven cautions to move up to 15th with just 16 laps complete. He would gain another four spots over the next five laps to run just outside of the top-10. He would drop back to 13th after a late-race restart, but ultimately crossed the finish line in 12th.
With another solid performance, Wally Wilson was able to finish his rookie campaign in the OSCAAR Modifieds sitting 10th in the standings.
