The Raceline Radio Network, Canada’s National Radio Motorsport Authority, has re-added another major Canadian market as the 2014 on-track racing season goes green, Raceline’s 22nd season on the air!The Raceline Radio Network is thrilled to announce TSN 690 Montreal, a Bell Media station, re-joins the Raceline Radio Network starting March 30th, running the program at 11 PM Sunday nights.
Raceline Producer and Anchor Erik Tomas will also provide additional weekly segments to compliment TSN 690’s auto racing coverage, and to promote the Raceline Hour.
TSN 690 Montreal joins a host of other Bell Media stations on the Raceline Radio Network: TSN 1260 Edmonton, TSN 1200 Ottawa, The TEAM 1040 Vancouver, AM 800 CKLW Windsor, Cat Country 99.5 Truro, and News Talk 610 CKTB St. Catharines-Niagara.
Raceline Radio Network Anchor/Producer Erik Tomas: “We certainly missed having Montreal on the Network, especially at Canadian Grand Prix time. Formula One fans are like no other fans in the sport. We needed to re-connect and we do with TSN 690! Quebec has a very storied and vivid racing history on the short tracks and drag strips as well. Big thanks to PD Chris Bury and his staff! We also look very much forward to getting back on the air with Mitch Melnick and the station’s solid on-air personalities!”
TSN 690 Program Director Chris Bury: “With the F-1 Canadian Grand Prix in this city, it just makes sense to have a show on our schedule that deals with racing, and Raceline is that show. They have been the Canadian radio voice of auto racing for more than 20 years. We can also count on Erik for racing segments and input outside the show. It’s just a very good fit.”
The addition of TSN 690 Montreal follows the Raceline Radio Network’s recent announcement that Rogers Broadcasting Atlantic station News 95.7 Halifax had returned to the national line up.
In partnership with Network co-flagship stations Sportsnet 590 The FAN Toronto and AM 900 CHML Hamilton, The Raceline Radio Network is heard on 16 Canadian radio stations year-round, from Vancouver to Halifax, with 21 airings per week, as several affiliates air Raceline more than once a week.
