MILLGROVE, Ontario (May 21, 2022)- — There’s only been two weeks of Canadian Vintage Modified action at Flamboro Speedway, but Quintin Murdoch has led the field in both of those weeks.
The first feature saw Quintin Murdoch move into the runner-up spot on the opening lap, followed by taking over the top spot on Lap 7. From there on, he posted his quickest lap of the 25-lap affair on Lap 9 as he led the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory.
The invert saw him start fifth, but that did not faze him as he was able to move up into fourth in just the first five laps. From there, he laid down his quickest lap at Lap 11 in the process of taking over the third position. Unfortunately, he would run out of time in catching the leaders, crossing the finish line in third.
The early success gives him two wins and a third in the first three races of 2022.
It was an overall successful night for Murdoch Motorsports, with his father Steve placing third and fourth in the pair of features.
Quintin Murdoch will be back behind the wheel for the third Canadian Vintage Modified event of 2022 on Saturday, May 28 at Flamboro Speedway.
Murdoch Motorsports is proud to be supported by Young Drivers of Canada – Orangeville, Shelburne and Mount Forrest, and DJD Graphics for the 2022 season.
