Burlington, Ontario drag racer Glen Vardy is looking forward to the 2013 season. Planning to compete for the titles in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the entire in Lucas Oil Division One tour, the Affliction Motorsports driver is also planning for some action in Division 2 & 3, as well as a pair of NHRA National events.

Vardy’s Top Dragster is powered by a 540 cubic inch Dart. It’s supercharged with a prototype F3 crank mounted ProCharger centrifugal supercharger. It makes in excess of 2,500 horsepower and is capable of running 6.0’s at over 225 mph. According to Vardy, his dragster is one of the fastest single-carbureted cars on the planet, although he plans to de-tune the motor to run 6.40’s in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, to be consistent.

Owner/Driver Glen Vardy is backed up by a team consisting of Steve Vardy (Crew Chief), Shawn Louden (Asst. Crew Chief), Brian Vardy (Tow Vehicle / Detailer) and Jackie Hill (Team Photography & Promotion).

Vardy will take to the track in 2013 with sponsorship support from Dial a Bottle (www.BeerStoreDelivery.com). The company offers beer and liquor store home delivery throughout Ontario. In the near future, you can find Affliction Motorsports on the web at TopDragster.ca and AfflictionMotorsports.ca.
