August 28, 2014- It has been a trying season at times for Jon Mills and the Hot Lick Racing team as they finish out the 2014 regular season this coming weekend at the Brockville Ontario Speedway.

Goals and Expectations were high going into the year, and although they have been consistent for the most part and have remained in the top five in points since the beginning of the year, they will fall short of their hopes of a championship.  Mills is currently fourth in points entering this weekend’s finale and just two points back of third place.

Once the checkered flag falls on Saturday night, plans for the remainder of the season are unclear, but Mills does plan on being back at the BOS for the Fall Nationals on Saturday, October 18th for the DIRTcar Sportsman Series event, a race that he came just short of winning last season.

“We have had some good nights and some bad nights this year.  I would really like to get a win before we end the season though, that has been one of our goals since the start of the season and we have come up a little short so far”, says Mills.  “It’s a tough field here, and everything has to be perfect to battle up front and stay there”.

Jon Mills and Hot Lick Racing would like to thank all of their sponsors for their continued support.  These sponsors include Unique Towing & Recovery, Gananoque Auto Service, Thousand Islands Mechanical, Chris Parks Heavy Truck Repair, Finish Line Web Design, 1000 Islands Painting, Laurin General Contractors, Tony Corcoran Speed and Performance, Turk’s Boat Polishing, Sure Trip and Speedy Auto Service (Eagleson Road – Kanata).
