LISTOWEL, ON – The Quick 32 Sportsman Series is pleased to announce the return of Ideal Supply and NAPA Auto Parts for the popular drag race series. The upcoming season will mark the fifth year of support from Ideal Supply and NAPA, and the series will continue to be officially known as the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts.
“We are pleased and very grateful for the continued involvement of Ideal Supply and NAPA Auto Parts,” said series Director of Operations Bruce Mehlenbacher. “They have been with us since the inception of the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and we thank them for their commitment to the sport.”
The Southwestern Ontario auto parts, electrical components, and industrial automation company has provided major sponsorship to the Quick 32 Sportsman Series for the past four years, will this will continue with the 2013 season.
“The Quick 32 Sportsman Series has done a terrific job in promoting drag racing, Ideal Supply and NAPA Auto Parts,” noted David Lange of Ideal Supply. “We are pleased to be a part of all this. The performance and the professionalism of teams has impressed us since the beginning.”
The Quick 32 Sportsman Series began in 2009 as a structured and regular venue for Sportsman teams to race in an organized environment. The series is comprised of Top Dragster racers and Top Sportsman racers who compete within their own division during a race meet, and the top eliminator from each side then races in a final round to declare an event champion.
The Quick 32 Sportsman Series will race six times in 2013, highlighted with the popular Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts August 9-11 at the Grand Bend Motorplex. The series also competes several times with its two companion series, the Pro Modified Racing Association, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series, offering an exciting and colorful package of drag racing action.
The racing gets under way this season May 10-11 at US 131 Motorsports Park at Martin, Michigan, and will race throughout the year at the Grand Bend Motorplex and the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
The Quick 32 Sportsman Series www.Quick32.ca will compete at all these events in conjunction with its companion series, the Pro Modified Racing Association, www.PMRA.ca, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series www.PBSS.ca, providing an exciting, colorful, and complete show of the best in drag racing action.
