MILLGROVE, Ontario (July 9, 2022)— As has become a growing theme in Ontario Pro Challenge Series competition, the Norris family swept the pair of features on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.
Taking the lead on the second lap, Tim Norris led the rest of the way in the first 20-lap affair ahead of Mike Norris, Travis Majeury, Ethan Fleet, and Mike O’Connell. Emma Norris finished sixth, followed by Peter Hattin and Jae Pepin.
The second feature was a bit of a different story, with Mike Norris securing the top spot on Lap 6 to pace the field the rest of the way in front of Tim Norris, Travis Majeury, Ethan Fleet, and Mike O’Connell. Emma Norris placed sixth ahead of Peter Hattin and Jae Pepin.
Devon Rayment failed to start both features.

Pro Late Models
Shawn Chenoweth led flag-to-flag to win the first feature in front of Chris Howse, Trevor Thompson, Rick Burbridge, and Mark Burbridge. Ty Cavallin placed sixth ahead of Logan White, Kevin Gallant, and David Gallinger, while Kevin Albers failed to finish.
Late race contact was the deciding factor in the second feature, with Chris Howse coming out on top when the dust settled in front of Shawn Chenoweth, Mark Burbridge, Kevin Gallant, and Kevin Albers. Logan White placed sixth, while Ty Cavallin was relegated to a seventh-place finish after being spun with a lap to go. David Gallinger was eighth, while Trevor Thompson and Rick Burbridge failed to finish.

The dominance continued for Lane Zardo, as he took the top spot on Lap 3 and did not look back en route to victory ahead of Brad Collison, Roy Wilkie, Chase Pinsonneault, and Randy Rusnell. Kelsey Lamont placed sixth, while Austin Penney did not finish.

Taking the lead just before halfway, Shawn Taylor led the rest of the way en route to victory ahead of Cole Quinton, Mike Gilmour, Mike Hooper, and Kaitlyn Wallace. Cole Ecker finished sixth, followed by Rolan Goodfellow, Michael Kenny, RJ Croteau, and Rick Robinson. Jason Thomson and Dave Goodacre rounded out the field, while Bobby Mercer failed to finish.
Starting back in the field for the second 25-lap affair, Shawn Taylor came out on top following a duel for the lead, pacing the field for the final half of the event to sweep the night, once again in front of Cole Quinton, Kaitlyn Wallace, Cole Ecker, and Mike Hooper. Bobby Mercer was sixth ahead of Roland Goodfellow, Mike Gilmour, RJ Croteau, and Jason Thomson. Michael Kenny, Rick Robinson, and Dave Goodacre failed to finish.

Cameron Thomson took the lead with four laps to go, holding on the rest of the way en route to victory, with Rick VanKleef crossing the finish line in second but disqualified post-race. Kyle Lucas finished third, followed by Chance Rogers and Eric Stewart. Leo Labarbera placed sixth ahead of Reece Bourgeois, Moses Ruiz, Jimmy Hooper, and Nicole Givens, while Teagan Ellis failed to finish.
Starting pole, Nicole Givens held off a hard-charging field en route to her first career feature victory. Rick VanKleef crossed the finish line second once again, but was disqualified again. Jimmy Hooper finished third, followed by Cameron Thomson, and Reece Bourgeois. Kyle Lucas placed sixth, followed by Moses Ruiz, Eric Stewart, Leo Labarbera, Chance Rogers, and Teagan Ellis.

Pro 4 Modifieds
Taking the lead on the second lap, Dan Pettit led the rest of the way en route to winning in front of Shannon Morris, Ken Mercer, and Vid Devris. Nick Abballe, Shawn Carey, Robert Mercer, and Jarrett Nock failed to finish.
Starting deep in the field did not stop Dan Pettit in the second feature, as he went for the daily double ahead of Nick Abballe, Shannon Morris, Ken Mercer, and Vid Devris. Shawn Carey failed to finish, while Robert Mercer and Jarrett Nock did not take the green flag.

The next event at Flamboro Speedway is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, with the APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series headlining the show in their second appearance of 2022. They will be joined by the Qwick Wick T.Q. Can-Am Midgets and a 50-lap Mini Stock invitational.
