ELGINBURG, ON (September 17, 2017)- Any racer’s next race is the most important of their career. For Bobby Herrington, that event is the Applefest Shootout at Brighton Speedway. After finishing the 2017 schedule in second place in Brockville Ontario Speedway’s 358 Modified division, the 26 year-old from Elginburg, Ontario is looking forward to a strong showing during the post-season shows. Even though Brighton is a track they see just once a year, Herrington says his crew takes the same attention to detail to the event as they do every race.
“Our team brings the same commitment to every show on the schedule,” said Herrington. “We owe it to our sponsors, fans and friends to be prepared and ready to win whenever and wherever we race. The level of communication I share with the people who work on this car gives me the confidence I need to do the job.”
The Applefest Shootout for DIRTcar Small Block Modifieds on Saturday, September 23 at Brighton Speedway is latest date on the Herrington Motorsports calendar that will also include satellite shows at Brewerton, Weedsport and Utica-Rome Speedways that will be run in conjunction with the 2017 edition of Super Dirt Week.
