Brighton Speedway welcomed the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour for a massive night of flashback racing, featuring vehicles from the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. The night featured five divisions: Late Models, Canadian Modifieds, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks and, of course, the Vintage Modified cars.
Gregorys Take Over the Mini Stock Feature
The 15-lap shootout began with Tyson Gregory (No. 22X) on the pole, followed by points leader Kyle Gregory (No. 97) in second, Coleson Gregory (No. 1) in third, Keith Dunk (No. 22) in fourth and Jack Veenstra (No. 91) in fifth.
The race got underway with a single-file green flag after two cautions before a lap could be completed. No. 22X Gregory quickly pulled ahead, gaining a significant advantage on the restart. No. 97 Gregory attempted to close the gap, while the rest of the field trailed behind the leaders, with No. 1 Gregory and No. 22 Dunk battling for third.
In the closing laps, lap traffic slowed the leaders, allowing No. 1 Gregory to move into second past No. 97 Gregory. At the finish, Tyson Gregory claimed the victory, followed by Coleson Gregory in second, Kyle Gregory in third, Keith Dunk in fourth and Jack Veenstra in fifth.
Pugh Takes the Vintage Modified Feature Win
The Vintage Modified 20-lap feature saw Brian Comeau (No. B7) and Ian Gordon (No. 17) bring the field to green from the front row. Ryan Hegarty (No. 66) started third, Aaron Pugh (No. 2) fourth and Steve Barber (No. 80) fifth.
On the opening lap, Comeau, Gordon and Pugh battled for the lead. Gordon suddenly lost power but was able to make it safely to the infield without involving any other competitors.
On the restart, Comeau held the lead while Hegarty and Pugh battled for second. Pugh eventually secured the position just before another caution slowed the field. The next restart produced a thrilling side-by-side battle between Comeau and Pugh, with Pugh ultimately taking control after a full lap of door-to-door racing.
At the checkered flag, Pugh scored the win ahead of Comeau, Josh Powers (No. 73), Joe August Jr. (No. 9) and Scott McPhail (No. 2M).
Ronny “The Rocket” Wadforth Does It Again
The Canadian Modified feature saw Dave Barrett (No. 97) start on the pole, with Ron Wadforth (No. 40) alongside in second. Adam Whaley (No. 212), Leslie Mowat (No. 2) and Jaiden Miller (No. 91) rounded out the top five starters.
When the green flag dropped, Mowat moved into third ahead of Whaley, while Wadforth took the lead from Barrett before the completion of the first lap. Mowat soon advanced to second, dropping Barrett to third as Phil Potts (No. 29) moved into contention.
On lap 10, Potts took over second and set his sights on the race leader. However, a caution was brought out when Potts spun in Turn 2, sending him to the rear of the field. Mowat regained second, but Shawn Gregory (No. 1) quickly became a factor.
Gregory eventually took the runner-up spot and chased Wadforth in the closing laps, but there was not enough time left to complete the pass. Wadforth captured another victory, with Gregory second, Barrett third, Doug O’Blenis (No. 32) fourth and Brittany Moon (No. 85) fifth.

Sandercock Adds Another Win This Season
The 30-lap Late Model feature began with Nathan Rinaldi (No. 3) on the pole. Dylan Boyle (No. 50) started alongside him, followed by Brandon Mowat (No. 46), Charlie Sandercock (No. 57) and Anthony Rinaldi (No. 7).
At the drop of the green flag, Mowat quickly took over second and began applying pressure to race leader Nathan Rinaldi. The duo exchanged positions several times before Sandercock entered the battle and took over second place.
Sandercock then set his sights on Rinaldi and eventually took command of the race. Following a caution, Steve Baldwin (No. 5) found an opening between Mowat and Rinaldi in their battle for second and capitalized, moving Rinaldi into second and Mowat back to fourth.
A late-race caution set up one final restart, allowing Baldwin to secure second place with no time remaining for Rinaldi to respond. Sandercock crossed the finish line first, followed by Baldwin, Nathan Rinaldi, Brandon Mowat and Boyle.
Rhodes Holds His Own Against the Defending Thunder Stock Champion
The Thunder Stock feature saw Garren Taylor (No. 09T) start on the pole with Carter Rhodes (No. 10) alongside him. Kaitlyn O’Blenis (No. 16) started third, Dylan Riley (No. 45) fourth and Tyler French (No. 0), the defending Thunder Stock champion, fifth.
Taylor and Rhodes battled for the lead from the outset. By lap four, French had climbed into third and began pressuring the leaders while waiting for an opportunity to strike.
On lap six, Taylor was slowed by lapped traffic, allowing Rhodes and French to move past on the outside. French stayed glued to Rhodes through every corner before making a successful move to the inside for the lead.
French went on to score the victory, with Rhodes finishing second. Brock Gregory (No. 26) completed the podium, while Taylor and O’Blenis rounded out the top five.
