The fourth qualifier ended in contact, with Chase Wilson spinning Emms in turns three and four as the pair battled for the lead. With Wilson put to the tail of the field as an involved car, it’d be Jake Watson picking up the win in front of Reinhart, Walters, Newman, Townsend, Robb, Emms, and Wilson.

Kamrath continued to move forward, passing Keen for third on Lap 4, as Schrenk ran fifth in front of Batty and Newman, with Walters alongside Townsend for eighth. Walters got the spot, only to be challenged by Emms, with Emms taking eighth on Lap 7 in front of Walters and Townsend.
At the front of the field, the climb to the top spot was complete for Andy Kamrath with eight laps on the board, as he took the lead in front of Watson. With 30 laps to go, Kamrath led Watson, Reinhart, Keen, Batty, Newman, Schrenk, Emms, Townsend, Gignac, Beatty, Liscum, Chase Wilson, and Wally Wilson, and Robb.
Kamrath got a good restart, leaving the field stacked two-wide three rows deep as Reinhart battled Watson for second, Batty battled Keen for fourth, and Emms battled Newman for sixth. Reinhart took over second on Lap 13 with Beatty moving up to fourth. Emms continued his climb, cracking the top-five on Lap 14, with Newman alongside Keen for sixth. Newman got the spot a lap later, with Schrenk running eighth ahead of Gignac and Batty. Batty tried to move forward, getting alongside Gignac for ninth on Lap 17.

The field would get spread out, with the race appearing to have a green-flag feel until the checkered flag. However, that would not be the case, with Townsend going around for the second caution at Lap 30.
Kamrath got another good restart, with Emms able to get by Reinhart for second, as Batty ran fourth in front of Newman, Watson, and Keen. Newman then got alongside Batty with seven laps to go, completing the pass a lap later.
