Freelton, ON (June 24, 2017)- AJ Emms kept the solid finishes rolling this past weekend at Flamboro Speedway, scoring his third straight top-five finish.
Emms started off the night solidly, placing second and third in his pair of heats.
Starting seventh for the feature, Emms quickly made his way to the front and up to third spot. He then avoided an incident ahead of him between the second place car and a lap car to move up into second.
On the late race restart, he would try and get by Luke Gignac for the lead, but was unable to do so, crossing the finish line in the second spot.
With three top-fives to start off the season, he currently sits second in the standings, just one point behind Luke Gignac for the top spot.
Emms and company don’t have any time to relax, as they will be back in action this coming weekend on July 1 at Sauble Speedway for the next OSCAAR Modified.
Emms and team are proud to be supported by BAE Environmental, Artech Promotional Products, Sunshine Super Wash, Thor Motors Orillia, Klotz Canada, TSS Top Shops and Creecher’s Design this season.
