PICTON, ON (May 02, 2022)- His resume includes strong runs and memorable finishes in some of the biggest events on the local racing calendar, including Brighton Speedway’s Great Crate Late Model event, as well as Street Stock and Vintage Modified wins during the Northeast Fall Nationals at Brockville.
Heading into the 2022 schedule Adam Turner has no intention of slowing down.
The 39-year-old father of three from Picton, Ontario will spend the majority of his season wheeling his No. 92 Late Model at Brighton, while the team also has a Thunder Stock/Street that they’ll campaign during selected shows and special events throughout the year. Following in the footsteps of his father Paul – a Brighton Speedway Wall of Fame inductee – the likeable weekly runner says there is no place he’d rather be than at the racetrack.
“Over the years, I’ve earned a reputation as the type of racer who’ll drive anything, anywhere, anytime,” admitted Adam Turner, who finished third in the 2021 Late Model standings and fifth in the overall Thunder Stock running order. “At this level of the sport, the ultimate goal is to have fun and those who know me will tell you that I’m always smiling when I’m in a racecar.”
It won’t be only a pair of potent stock cars that keep Adam Turner busy during the 2022 season. He’ll soon take on the roles of mentor and coach as his young son Race begins a motorsports career of his own with the Thursday night kart club at Brighton. The series has become a proving ground for developing new talent, including Turner’s niece Keira who will be starting a new season of action in the Novice Sportsman division at Brockville Speedway.
Adam Turner’s racing program is proudly supported by Lots & Lines Traffic Line Markings, Village Variety & Gas Bar, The Parks Group Real Estate, OPSEU, Maple Bin Services, The Work Gear, Stormy’s Auto Group, Dirt Outlaw Apparel, Rapid Rad, KD Transmissions, GForce TV, Angie’s Pooper Pumping Septic Service, Red Stallion, Quinte Auto Glass, Paul Turner Auto Repair, Ty’s Fries, Gates Graphics and Clarke Motorsports Communications.
“I have to thank my family for their support and the awesome friends and crew members who help out behind the scenes and at the track.”
