WOODSTOCK, ONTARIO (January 31, 2012) – After a successful initial season, Wiseco Performance Products will once again be title sponsor for the Pro Bike & Sled Series.

“We’re very happy with our first year,” said Harvey Silverthorn, General Manager of Wiseco Canada. “The bike and sled racers have been given a solid first-rate program.”

“I know the racers are happy,” he continued. “We’ve got a few new teams and others are stepping up their programs for 2012.”

Started in 2011, the PBSS has provided motorcycle and snowmobile drag racers a venue to compete in an organized environment. For the 2012 races, an elimination field of 16 qualified competitors in the both Pro Bike and Pro Sled will compete on a dial-in, Sportsman-style basis to determine the final event winner.

Based in Ohio, Wiseco Performance Products has provided a vast array of engine components for automotive, motorcycle, marine, and ATV applications for 70 years. This world-wide company provides a wide range of performance engine products for racing vehicles from Moto GP and Superbike and Snowcross to NHRA Pro Stock, Formula One, and IndyCar.

“Our initial year with the PBSS was a successful one,” noted Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations with the PBSS. “And with Wiseco continuing its support as title sponsor of the series, we will continue to grow and prosper.”
