Trois-Rivieres (Quebec, Canada), April 29th, 2013 – Dumoulin Competition is proud to announce the renewal of a major partnership between Louis-Philippe Dumoulin and WeatherTech Canada for the 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire season. The Dumoulin brothers can also count on the unconditional support of Group Bellemare, a partner for the past ten years.
For all racers, links developed with them in a spirit of performance both on the track and off the track are crucial for mutual success.
The 2012 season has led to relevant professional exchanges as well as a keen interest on both sides.
“I’ve mentioned several times last year how important it was for me to be associated with a company, a family like WeatherTech Canada, that creates a very high quality product with advanced equipment produced here in North America and demonstrates commitment to their families and employees,” says Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. “Especially since they convey values that reach what we develop with Dumoulin Competition, it is more than a partnership, we all come out winners and it is a great pride to wear the colors of the company and promote WeatherTech products across Canada. “
“WeatherTech Canada is pleased to announce its partnership for a second year with Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.”
As business owners, Tony Page and Joe Magri drive their business with a passion for excellence and quality.
“We are pleased to continue our association with Dumoulin Competition,” says Tony Page, President WeatherTech Canada. “We had an exciting first season and look forward to an even more successful second year. LP’s racing experience, drive and passion align well with our culture,” says Joe Magri, “And we are proud of the level of professionalism LP and the entire Dumoulin team bring to the WeatherTech brand.”
The Group Bellemare is a long-standing partner without whom the Dumoulin brothers and Dumoulin Competition would not be here today.
“What makes all the difference in a partnership is the relationships that are developed and the aim to achieve a common goal : success and podium. The Group Bellemare is a family business that has not stopped innovating since 1959 and they have believed in me and my brother since the beginning of our career”, shares Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. “It is through quality people like them that we can achieve our dreams,” adds Jean-François Dumoulin.
“For ten years, Group Bellemare has been proud to support our local athletes, Jean-François and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. We have seen them grow, develop, perform and achieve global success through prestigious series and always with determination”, share the president Jean-Luc Bellemare, partners, and employees.
In 2012, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was regularly positioned for the podium. Sixth in the final standing, it is with confidence that the racer wants to outperform the previous results. “We are confident that we can compete for the top-3 or the Championship” said the professional race instructor.
Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will drive a brand new 2013 car for road courses (Dodge Challenger, Mc Coll frame). For the second season, in order to optimize the technical logistics and mechanics, both cars No.47 WeatherTech Canada / Bellemare (oval and road course) will be prepared by Scott Steckly’s team.
“In 2012, we had several circuits to master and a new team of mechanics. This year, we will work with the same crew chief (Tyler Case) and we start the season with the advantage of having learned to work together, “said Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
