STROUD, ON (September 12, 2017)- Despite going around for a spin early in the feature, Trevor Hemingway rebounded to score a top-20 on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Hemingway was solid from the start of the night, finishing ninth in his first heat, followed by a seventh in the second qualifier.
Starting the feature from 15th, he wouldn’t get through the first lap without incident, as contact from behind saw him go around for a spin in turn two. Restarting from the tail of the 25-car field, he began to make up ground, passing four cars before the next caution flew at Lap 5. He continued to move forward, running 16th as of the next caution at Lap 10.
Restarting just outside of the top-15, he tried to continue moving forward to possibly top his season-best from last week, but was unable to do so, as he crossed the finish line in 16th.
Hemingway and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Partimer Signs, and Scentsy Consultant – Lisa DeLeeuw.
