STROUD, ON (September 12, 2017)- Battling hard from the drop of the green flag on Saturday night, Lisa DeLeeuw posted a solid top-15 finish at Sunset Speedway.
She began the night solidly, finishing fifth in her first heat, followed by a sixth in her second qualifier.
Starting fourth for the 25-lap feature, she ran up front in the early stages, before fading back to 12th by the second caution at Lap 5. From there, she kept herself solidly in the top-15, battling hard three-wide at times, en route to crossing the finish line in 14th.
She will return to Sunset Speedway this weekend on Saturday, September 16 in the 17th night of points competition. She entered last Saturday night sitting eighth in the track standings, just eight points behind seventh.
DeLeeuw and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Partimer Sign, Skytec Rentals, Solex Steel, Safeway Towing, BDS Enterprises, Can-alignment, Scentsy Independent Consultant, Jays Signs and Graphics, P&A Plastics, Higher Ground Landscaping, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
