Toronto, Ontario (February 8, 2013) – Canadian racing fans will have a special opportunity this weekend to help celebrate Toyota’s rich heritage in motorsports.
With a prominent presence spanning virtually every form of racing, Toyota currently has a number of vehicles competing at the highest level, including participation in NASCAR. Camry is in the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, while Tundra is in the Camping World Truck Series.
Toyota’s exciting involvement in racing today, as well as its longstanding history of success, will be featured prominently at the seventh annual Canadian Motorsports Expo (CME). The show takes place February 8-10 at the International Centre, adjacent to Toronto’s Pearson Airport.
This will be the first time Toyota Canada has appeared at the CME. To help make it a memorable debut, attendees will be able to go for test rides behind the wheel of several popular new vehicles, including the 2013 Canadian-built Toyota RAV 4 compact sport utility vehicle, the mid-size 4Runner Sport Utility Vehicle and the compact Tacoma and full-size Tundra pickup trucks.
In addition, there will be a public autograph session with NASCAR Toyota team owner and two-time Daytona 500 champion Michael Waltrip on Saturday, February 9. That session begins at 3 p.m.
To cap off the experience, visitors to the Toyota Canada display, located at Booth #409, can enter a draw for a chance to win $10,000.
