January 9, 2014- The 2013 season is long over, and work towards 2014 has already begun for Tabatha Murphy and the Murphy Motorsports team.  Tabatha and the team are looking forward to a fresh start, and are determined more than ever to establish some consistency and be a Top 10 team in the competitive Sportsman division throughout the entire season.

The team has upgraded their TEO Chassis over the off-season and is working hard on their 2014 program.  They plan to concentrate on their weekly program at Brockville Speedway, and may also venture to other area tracks at some point during the season.

This past season, Tabatha had several good nights at the track.  The highlight of the season came on August 10th, with an impressive second place finish.  She also opened the season with a fifth place finish on May 11th.  In addition, Tabatha also scored top 10 finishes in back to back events mid-season.

“Consistency will be the key going into the season”, says Murphy.  “We hope to be a consistent Top 10 team and build on that throughout the season.  Hopefully we can start challenging for top fives and get back to Victory Lane in 2014”.

Tabatha and the Murphy Motorsports team would like to thank King Edward Auto Parts, McGuffy’s News, Brockville Tractor Trailer Maintenance, Reabel’s Plumbing, Splash Well Drilling, Ernie’s Auto Clinic, ET Performance, April Super Flo and Finish Line Web Design for their support, and we look forward to finishing the season strong and having a great season in 2014.
