Following up on the news that former NASCAR racer Ken Schrader will be participating in the upcoming APC Late Model Series race at Jukasa Motor Speedway comes the news that he will be sponsored by Spectra Premium in the event.

The race takes place August 26 & 27 at the newly-rebuilt 5/8-mile speedway located south of Hamilton, Ontario. This event marks the APC Series debut for Schrader who will be behind the wheel of the APC Series Pro Late Model for the first time. Schrader, a stock car racing legend, has raced at the track when it operated as Cayuga Motor Speedway.

“We have competed in two races at the former Cayuga Speedway, including the deal back in 2002 with all the Cup drivers coming in after our race at Bristol,” said Schrader. “And also back in the mid ’90s we finished second in an ACT race to Junior Hanley. It’s neat to see a facility reopening, and not wasting away which unfortunately happens a lot. From everything I have seen it is quite the investment and making the place look nice. When you take a place that was already nice and make it nicer it is going to be classy.”

With Spectra Premium coming on board as a sponsor for Ken Schrader it only expands their involvement in the motorsports industry. Spectra Premium was founded in 1989 and is based out of Boucherville, Quebec and currently employs over 1500 employees across North America.
