Here’s a shot of former Barrie Speedway champion Dwayne Baker’s brand new Port City chassis, set for competition in 2012. The 2007 Barrie Speedway Limited Late Model champion, Baker will be returning to the 1/3 mile oval after a 3-year hiatus that saw the Stayner, ON veteran compile impressive results while competing at Sunset Speedway.

‘The Bully’s 2012 efforts will enjoy backing from Centennial Chrysler, Zancor Homes, Clearview Heating, Unitech, Baker Performance Parts and Port City Racecars. The team would also like to thank Harley Boeve of Port City Racecars and JR Hanley for their work in getting the car ready for competition this Saturday.

MATT BARTON: Ontario Legends Series graduate Matt Barton is set to join the upstart OSCAAR Modified tour for its 2012 campaign, and sent along a shot of his immaculately prepared ride. The Howe chassis was last raced at Delaware Speedway by veteran Modified competitor Tony Viera, but has since enjoyed a complete rebuild courtesy of Barton’s MDB Racecars. Barton will enjoy support from Velocity Signs this season, and will be in action with the rest of the tour when the OSCAAR Modifieds begin their inaugural season May 20th at Sunset Speedway.
