HALIFAX, NS – Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series is greasing up for Mopar Express Lane Night presented by Dartmouth Dodge. Five divisions of racecars will see action under the lights this Friday including; the ACE Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning, Jack Daniel’s Trucks, Strictly Hydraulics Legends and Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman. Admission for Mopar Express Lane Night is just $12.00 for Adults; Youth (8-15) are $2.00 and children 7 and under are free…all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing action slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
Kids Corner with Kate is a hit with the youngsters at the track and will return again this Friday night! Kids Corner will be set up in an area just inside of the main grandstand entrance. Kids can visit and create posters and signs in support of their favorite drivers. We will provide all of the necessary materials. Kate is one of our Scotia Speedworld team members and will be there to assist and help the kids. Kids Corner will run from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM this week, just prior to Mopar Express Lane Night racing action!
Friday’s nights festivities are being presented by Dartmouth Dodge. Dartmouth Dodge is “Where Nova Scotia Comes to Save” on both new and pre-owned vehicles. About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue.
