HALIFAX, NS – Ashton Tucker (Miramichi, NB) held off all challengers on a final restart, with five laps to go, to earn his second Maritime Pro Stock Tour win of 2025 on Saturday night. The 200-lap feature at Scotia Speedworld, round nine of 10 on the Tour, saw Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) and Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) chase Tucker across the stripe. Jordan Veinotte (Porters Lake, NS) and Austin MacDonald (Pictou, NS) completed the top-five in the 18-car field.
Steve Livley (Shubenacadie, NS), Jarrett Butcher (Enfield, NS) and Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB) won their respective heat races, which set the field for the 200-lap event.
Hall entered with the points lead but broke a rear end in the second half of the feature. The mechanical issue will swing the points lead to Tucker with only one race to go, on October 4 at Petty International Raceway.
The Maritime League of Legends ran a 50-lap feature prior to the Pro Stock Tour main event. Owen Mahar (Hubley, NS) was first to the checkers, followed by Chase MacKay (Bear Cove, NS) and Danny Chisholm (Port Williams, NS).
The Bandolero Road Trip also entertained fans prior to the headline race. Ethan Hicken (New Glasgow, NS) earned the overall win, while Hicken and Bristol Matthews (Nine Mile River, NS) split the two feature races.
