FENELON FALLS, ON (July 24, 2018) – Shawn Callan of Pickering, ON was recently announced as the proud new owner of a 1969 Dodge Dart convertible, the latest winner in the Classic Car Draw sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls.
A tradition that began in 2002 as a fundraiser benefiting more than two dozen charities in Southern Ontario’s Kawartha Lakes district, the Classic Car Draw will continue into next year with the next prize revealed as a fully restored and customized 1970 Dodge Dart.
Powered by a late model 5.7 Hemi powerplant, the Dart boasts a five speed, floor shift overdrive electronic transmission, and comes equipped with a Pro Car bucket seats and a custom dash and instrument panel. Lime green pearl metallic paint makes this car a definite eye-catcher.
The appraised value of this Mopar classic is $47,900.00.
The car will make several public appearances prior to the draw and can be seen at car shows in Lindsay, Belleville, Fenelon Falls, Bothwell, New Hamburg and Kirkfield throughout the 2018 summer months, as well as at the 2019 Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo at Toronto’s International Centre.
