BRAMPTON, ON – Sponsorship at any level of racing can be tough to get and sometimes, it takes creativity to get it. Wilson Motorsports is doing that as they are hosting a fundraiser.
On Saturday April 27th at 3pm, Brian Wilson and Wilson Motorsports will be hosting a fundraiser at the Around The Corner Pub & Eatery in Brampton, Ontario. The event is meant to raise money for Wilson’s racing efforts in 2013 and celebrate the sponsors that they’ve gained.
Tickets for the event at $20.00 with all proceeds collected going straight to the race team. Wilson got started in racing at the age of eight in CSRA, racing snow cross, before racing go-karts for two years. Last year, Wilson Jr. competed solidly in his second season behind the wheel of a super stock.
The 2013 season though, brings a new challenge as Wilson will be moving up to the Limited Late Model Division at Sunset Speedway. Wilson took his first laps behind the wheel this past weekend during testing.
Wilson and team would like to thank their sponsors for their support: Gunk, Scrap Car Towing, Assured Car and Truck Rental, Smurf’s Towing, Canadian Home Renovations, Tuff Transportation, Pete’s Automotive, Stag Automotive, and Terrier Excavating and Landscaping.
Around The Corner Pub & Eatery is located at 107 Kennedy Road South in Brampton, Ontario. You can connect with Wilson Motorsports on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Brian-Wilson-Jr-Motor-Sports-00/212390095484821.
