At the recent Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo, at Toronto’s International Centre, Rich Schwartzenburg led a team of stock car enthusiasts in building a Mini Stock car that will be in action this season at Flamboro Speedway.
Originally planned as a three-day build, the project was cut to two days by the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless, Schwartzenburg and the entire #Race4Trades team – which was supported by several companies and donors – engaged with thousands of Motorama showgoers, during the event.
Constance Nunes, co-start of the Netflix TV show Car Masters: Rust to Riches, was intrigued by the project and chatted with Schwartzenburg and his team.
In this post-show chat, Inside Track editor Greg MacPherson talks with Rich about the #Race4Trades initiative and how to expand on it for the future.
