PETERBOROUGH, ON – As temperatures increase, so will the action this Canada Day! On Sunday July 1, Peterborough Speedway will host the annual Chase for the Colours. Pole Qualifying, presented by Lucas Oil. Grandstands will open at 1:00 p.m. and the green flag will fly at 2:30 p.m.
The Canada Day lineup will include a 75 lap Late Model feature, a 40 lap Thunder Car race, a 30 lap Mini Stock main, and a 30 lap Four Fun race. The day will also mark the debut of the new OSCAAR Modified Series at the high-banked, one-third-mile oval. Additionally, the third and four-place finishers in each Canada Day main will be guaranteed a 13th and 14th-place (respectively) starting spot at Autumn Colours, with the option to advance their spots through the heat races, in October.
