MISSISSAUGA, ON (March 9, 2018)- The winter blues are never fun for any race fan, as all they want to do is fast forward to spring and get the cars on track. Fortunately, we have a small cure for those for you.

Like we have in years past, OSCAAR will be taking part in the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo from March 9 to March 11, with plenty for the fans to see.

Taking place at the International Centre, the event brings together some of the best looking cars and racecars for fans to look at, along with industry experts available for autographs and stage discussions. The show has already announced a series of special guests to be in attendance, including NHRA driver Ron Capps, Street Outlaws star Jeff Lutz, and Overhaulin’s Courtney Hansen.

OSCAAR will once again have a booth in the racer’s coral, and welcomes fans to stop by the booth and pick up a schedule, well voicing any concerns or asking questions to the staff on-hand. We will also have some fresh merchandise on sale courtesy of Knightworks Designs so you’re looking for good for this season.

For our competitors that are on-hand, we welcome you to stop by the booth too and say hello to any of the fans that may be in attendance. There isn’t any formal autograph sessions or stuff going on, but our drivers will be glad to speak with you if your paths cross.

On top of all that, we will be featuring some of the cars that you will see on-track for the 2018 season.

2017 OSCAAR Modified Champion Luke Gignac will have his ADAMS Motorsports’ No. 99 Modified on display as he looks to go for his second straight title.

“We plan on running the whole season again and hope to continue making the team and car stronger,” Gignac said. “We are looking forward to racing at Jukasa (Motor Speedway) and also looking forward to seeing the extra teams that are coming out to the MOD class. More competitors will only make this class stronger!”

OSCAAR Hot Rod Series rookies Brad Martin and Jeremy McLean will both be showcasing their rides, as McLean has already got the fans talking as he has been leaking photos of his 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. For Martin, though, the show will be the first time his Dodge is shown.

“I hope I can have some success in the series,” Martin said. “I’ve always liked OSCAAR and how the series is run; a lot of good guys in it, and hopefully I can become one of those good guys that everyone cheers for.”

Lance Foster will also have his car on display, after making his series debut at Sunset Speedway last season. They’ll be joined by 2017 OSCAAR Hot Rod series champion Tyler Hawn displaying his car, as well.

The OSCAAR Pro Sprints won’t be left out, with both Steve Belfry and James Stanley having their cars on display.

“I think last year really turned some heads with the car counts and speeds of these cars,” Stanley said. “The series is really taking off quickly. As for my car I think we could’ve been more competitive if we had my new car out all season, things really picked up the last six races. 2017 was a good learning year for me and I had a lot of fun.”

OSCAAR will also be part of the Short Track Night of Champions Ceremony on Saturday, March 10 with all five title holders being recognized – Gignac, 2017 OSCAAR Outlaw Champion Glenn Watson, 2017 OSCAAR Pro Sprint Champion Jordan Hanna, 2017 OSCAAR Midget Champion Brent Kemps, and Hawn.
