Teams with the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series are getting ready for another round of Saturday night short track excitement as the group makes its return to Central Ontario. After June 13th and June 20th main event wins by Parker Traves, Peterborough Speedway will host the action with a pair of feature events. The opening round will be presented by Kevin Ryan Automotive, while Andy the Mechanic will back the second headliner.
Mini Stock, Super Stock, the GEN-3 Electrical SportsMods’ Bill Pickford Memorial and KOD Disposal Ontario Bandolero Series action will join the raceday line-up, with Kid’s Bike Races as the intermission feature. Spectator gates open Saturday, July 18th at 5:00 p.m., with the night’s racing starting at 6:00.
With nearly a quarter of this year’s schedule complete, almost 30 different teams have scored points in at least one Ontario Legend Car Series event. Reigning series champion Dawson Drimmie scored the season-opening win on Saturday, May 16th at Peterborough Speedway. Parker Traves has held the hot hand ever since, with a checkered flag on Saturday, May 30th at Sauble Speedway and the two most recent dates on June 13th and 27th at Peterborough.
