Trois-Rivières, QC – Under the esteem filled gazes of the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres’ dedicated fans, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will participate in the fourth road circuit event in the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season behind the wheel of the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare Dodge.
With a season consisting of two top-5’s and three top-10 finishes, the Trois-Rivieres native will defend his colors, with the thirteen years of experience and acquired knowledge on the circuit that has seen him evolve, but above it all accumulate points for the championship.
The 2011 GP3R race took place in the pouring rain. After leading for five laps, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin crossed the finish line with a top-5. This year the Trois-Rivieres born driver aims for a podium.
« Without the GP3R I would not be where I am today with my career. Being on the track at Trois-Rivieres has always been a very significant moment and this is an excellent timing to get a podium », shares with emotion the Dumoulin that has participated in all of the GP3R editions since 1998.
