After spending some time away from the sport, Max Beyore will return to OSCAAR Modified competition in 2020.

The decision to return back to racing happened after “putting my two awesome daughters through University,” and returning to work full-time last year.

“I’m excited to get back racing after being out of the car for a couple years,” he commented. “My goals would be to win a feature, and expect to be competitive each night.”

Beyore has shown speed in the modified before, scoring a runner-up in the season ending standings in 2014, with a pair of career feature victories and 10 heat wins. He hopes to be able to repeat that success once again with sponsorship from Millenium Crane Service.

Out of all the tracks on the schedule, Beyore says he’s most excited about getting back to Sunset Speedway after being close a few times to winning there with a couple runner-ups through the years. He also noted that the pair of events at Peterborough Speedway are circled on his calendar, as well.

For Beyore, his family has been involved in motorsports for a long time, as he grew up watching his dad race a dirt modified three nights a week. After helping his brother and dad for a long time, he made the decision to get behind the wheel himself.

Since making that decision, there has been many great memorable moments through his racing career.

“My most memorable moment was throughout the only full season I ran in OSCAAR, and being competitive each night out and managing a few wins along the way,” he commented.
