(BEDFORD, NS – March 3rd, 2020) – The Maritime League of Legends Tour is excited to announce their 2020 racing season schedule. The Series will wind their way across the Maritime Provinces from May to September with the ultimate goal of crowning a regional touring champion after the ten race schedule between five of the top oval tracks in Atlantic Canada.

The quest for a championship will begin on Saturday, May 16th when the green flag flies on the first stock car racing card in the Maritimes at Petty International Raceway. The River Glade, New Brunswick racetrack will host the Maritime League of Legends Tour for a second time in 2020 on River Glade International weekend on Saturday, August 22nd.

Scotia Speedworld will host a trio of races for the Maritime League of Legends Tour, beginning with the first stop on Saturday, May 30th at the 3/10-mile oval. The facility located just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia will be the battle grounds for a 50-lap feature on Saturday, August 8th and will see a champion crowned in their season finale on Saturday, September 12th.

The cars and stars of the Maritime League of Legends Tour will race on Prince Edward Island twice in 2020. The Series will contest INEX-sanctioned point events on Saturday, July 4th and Saturday, August 1st at Oyster Bed Speedway in Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island.

The Maritime League of Legends Tour will once again be a part of the region’s biggest weekend of racing when they hit the track for their only Friday event of the season. The Legends will open the IWK 250 Super Weekend at Riverside International Speedway on Friday, July 17th. The race traditionally boasts the biggest car count of Legend cars in Atlantic Canada for a single event with 30 cars battling it out for the checkered flag. The Legends will follow up the IWK 250 Weekend with a second stop at Riverside a month later during the “Sportsman Special” on Saturday, August 15th.

Speaking of major events, the Maritime League of Legends Tour will race on Saturday, September 5th at Speedway 660. In addition to the 50-lap Legend feature on Saturday evening, the Maritime League of Legends Tour will also provide support and sanctioning to the Bandolero Blast event on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th. SpeedWeekend at Speedway 660 is the biggest weekend of racing at the Geary, New Brunswick track and is anchored by the 20th Annual Pro Stock 250 on Sunday, September 6th.
