Trois-Rivieres (Quebec, Canada) – July 12th, 2013. It is with enthusiasm that Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is traveling to Western Canada today, to compete in the next two events of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Championship behind the wheel of his n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare Dodge.
The fifth race of the season will take place in Vernon, BC, this Saturday July 13th on the track of the Motoplex Speedway and Event Park A&W Cruisin The Dub 300.
“The WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare team is second in the championship, only two points behind the leader, and now we are out in the West for two events. These are tracks that I really appreciated racing on last year, I can’t wait to Saturday! Vernon is the hometown of Tyler Case, my crew chief, and we certainly want to keep pushing forward and build a solid base”, shares with conviction, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
Last year’s experience allows Louis-Philippe and his mechanical team to be proactive and deploy a perfected strategy this time around. In 2012, the driver of the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare Dodge had finished the race in ninth place on this track, and had demonstrated that he could compete alongside drivers specialised. Louis-Philippe is confident about the upcoming events.
“We have excellent chemistry, and the team knows these Western Canada’s tracks very well, it is a long race. Overall, we want to have fun and work hard for a top-5 finish.”
