Stroud, ON (May 30, 2017)- Continuing to get used to her new ride, Lisa DeLeeuw scored her best finish of the season so far on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
She started off the night really well, running inside the top-three in heat race action till contact with Cameron McGlashan resulted in a broken tie rod.
As a result of the poor qualifying effort, she would start near the back of the field for the 25-lap feature. The event didn’t start off smoothly, as she’d go around on Lap 7 after contact with Dylan Holmes. Restarting at the tail once again, she fought back strongly, driving her way up to 17th before the checkered flag was waved on the night.
DeLeeuw and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Partimer Sign, Skytec Rentals, Solex Steel, Safeway Towing, BDS Enterprises, Can-alignment, Scentsy Independent Consultant, Jays Signs and Graphics, P&A Plastics, Higher Ground Landscaping, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
