Stroud, ON (July 10, 2017)- Lisa DeLeeuw battled hard throughout the feature, en route to posting a top-15 finish on Saturday night.
The DY Racing started off the night well, escaping a wreck in her first heat to finish sixth. She then backed it up with another sixth in the second qualifier.
Starting eighth for the 25-lap feature, she dropped back to ninth in the early stages, ultimately running 14th with 21 laps to go. She began to move back up, though, climbing to 12th by the next caution at Lap 6, though dropped back to 14th over the course of the run.
She continued to battle hard, ultimately crossing the finish line in the 16th position. However, with a DQ happening in post-race technical inspection, she’d be credited with a 15th place finish.
She will hope to continue improving this weekend on Saturday, July 22 in the 10th night of points competition.
DeLeeuw and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Partimer Sign, Skytec Rentals, Solex Steel, Safeway Towing, BDS Enterprises, Can-alignment, Scentsy Independent Consultant, Jays Signs and Graphics, P&A Plastics, Higher Ground Landscaping, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
