Stroud, ON (May 3, 2017)- Debuting a new car for herself this year, Lisa DeLeeuw put together a solid night as she continued to get to know her new ride.
She opened the season by finishing sixth in both of her heats, forcing her to run the b-main to qualify for the main event. She put in a commendable performance, finishing seventh to transfer to 25-lap main feature.
Starting deep in the field, she worked at making up some ground early and despite going down a lap to the leaders, she ran as high as 22nd at one point en route to posting a 25th-place finish.
DeLeeuw will be back at Sunset Speedway on May 6 in hopes to continue getting stronger each week.
DeLeeuw and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Solex Steel, Partimer Signs, Skytec Rentals, Safeway Towing, Jays Signs and Graphics, Can-Alignment, BDS Enterprise, P&P Plastics and Cabral Racing Promotions.
