Colborne, ON (May 21, 2015)- Building and maintaining a competitive weekly short track racing program can be an exciting proposition. Putting a pair of machines into action on two different series takes a strong level of marketing, promotional and sponsorship support.
Based in Colborne, Ontario veteran campaigner Linc Brown is preparing his equipment for a run on the inaugural APC Pro Late Model tour, while his 16 year old daughter Bailey – a standout with the Kawartha-Durham Kart Club – is starting her sophomore season with the INEX Ontario Legends Series.
To say it’s been a busy time in the Team 99 shops would be an understatement, but the dad and daughter duo is working as hard on putting together their publicity package as they are getting the cars ready for the race track. Linc Brown says the teams will be looking to add partners who’ll compliment their operation.
“We’ve always worked well with our sponsorship associates, with a goal of promoting their businesses as well as the race teams,” said Brown. “Our programs include a variety of off-track activities and events with meet and greet opportunities and corporate occasions. We also send out weekly press releases and updates to keep everyone informed on the team’s progress and goings-on throughout the year.”
Linc Brown Motorsports is happy to welcome long-time backer Kawartha Metals back to the fold as primary sponsor for 2015. Known as ‘The Candy Store for Welders’, Kawartha Metals’ association with the team dates back a number of years, to when the driver travelled with the former Alstar Late Model series and through his time at Kawartha Speedway. From humble beginnings in 1994 in the garage of company president Tom Elliott, Kawartha Metals has grown and is now located in a 24,000 square foot location on Whittington Drive in Peterborough, with a staff of 21 highly trained individuals and over a million dollars in inventory; including 6,000 different types of metal, brass and plastics.
