@Garyklutt • @NASCAR •#NASCARPintysSeries •@hondaindy • TORONTO, ON: (July 13, 2016)- The Smilin’ Assassin will appear this Saturday at Pinty’s Grand Prix of Toronto taking place at Toronto’s Exhibition Place.

After a string of hard luck races, the PioneerFamilyPools.ca team is looking to improve on the current sixth place standing in Nascar Pinty’s Series points.

“All we can do is keep our heads down, work as hard as we can and the results will come,” says Klutt.

Klutt recalls visiting the Toronto Indy with his father when he was younger, “It was always a special weekend for us, so to finally have the opportunity to get to race there is going to be a great experience.”

As for the race, “I’m really excited to get to race right at home in the streets of Toronto… I am confident in our road course program and I think we’ll have a good car going into the weekend.”

Even with a list of experienced drivers at the Ex, Klutt is confident that his team and his car can take the pack by storm.

Klutt noted the real challenge behind this race will be learning the track in just 1 practice session from 11am-12pm on Friday before qualifying at 5pm on the same day.

“I had to learn almost every track on the schedule last year, so I’m confident that I can just buckle down and get a handle on this bumpy street course,” says Klutt.
