Two Merrittville Karters Win First Features Of 2016

@Merrittville •Wednesday July 13, 2016 THOROLD, ONTARIO – The list of first time winners continued at Merrittville Speedway July 11th with two Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series Drivers winning their first features of 2016.

First to visit Victory Lane was Cohen Corbett who won his first Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 Feature. Also winning his first feature was 2016 Rookie Scott Andres in the Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Division.

Taking home his third straight RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Feature was Owen Kaiser – bringing his season win total to four.

In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, Nigel Pendykoski also won his fourth Feature of the season in the Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Division.

Donny Lampman won for the fifth time in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division while Dalton Slack won his seventh Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Feature.

Kart Racing continues Tuesday July 19th. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
