Hamilton, ON (August 2, 2017)- After working hard to get everything ready to go, Power To Go Motorsports made their first laps on track this past weekend at Flamboro Speedway as part of the Don Biederman Memorial.
Starting seventh in the first of the pair of 25-lap features, he battled for position through the early laps, before being involved in a incident in turn three on Lap 2. With no damage sustained, Bowman was able to continue easily, running sixth after the restart. He was able to move up one spot to fifth after avoiding an incident ahead of him with six laps to go. Restarting inside the top-five, he battled hard en route to a fifth-place finish.
Starting eighth for the second feature, he started off strong, but ran into mechanical problems on Lap 3, forcing him to pull off the track. As a result, he was credited with an eighth-place finish.
Following a fifth and an eighth on the night, Bowman was credited with sixth in the overall rankings.
