GRIMSBY, ON- Veteran Jeff Lapcevich will be back behind the wheel of his No. 76 Tim Hortons Dodge this Sunday, August 10th as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 returns to Circuit de Trois-Rivieres for the JuliaWine.com Le 50 Tours.

“Trois Rivieres is one my favourite stops on the schedule every year”, explains Lapcevich. “Racing in Quebec always seems to have a certain energy that’s tough to match anywhere else. We’ve had some great runs there in the past, and we’re certainly hoping for that level of performance this weekend”

Lapcevich has finished within the top-10 in all 6 of his GP3R appearances, highlighted by 4th place runs in 2007 and 2011.

“I enjoy street courses, and Trois Rivieres is as technical as they come”, says the Grimsby, ON-based driver. “Equipment preservation plays a huge role there. The track is very tight and can use up your brakes in an awful hurry”

The road course specialist will enter the event in search of his third top-5 in four races this season.

“We’ve paid a lot of attention to our road course program in the last year or so. It’s had quite an upgrade, and I’m proud of what we’ve been able to put together. When all is said and done, I’m confident we’ll be able to compete for a spot on that podium this weekend”
