For the fifth consecutive season, Sun Peaks, BC racer Jason White will return to Daytona for Speedweeks to participate in the ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona International Speedway. This year’s event will go green on Saturday, February 18 and White sees this as his best opportunity yet for success.
White will work with a stacked team at Jeff McClure Racing and drive the #44 Chevrolet Impala, with primary support from “Dekt Out Marine Decking Solutions”. McClure Racing has a technical alliance with Andy Hillenburg Racing, who White has worked with previously, and Fast Track Racing.
McClure is a longtime racer, car owner and successful NASCAR crew chief, working with many talented drivers including Christopher Bell, Todd Gilliland, Thad Moffit and TJ Bell, who will also be part of the team as spotter for Jason White.
“With this kind of experience and talent on the team, I’m super pumped about our chances at Daytona,” stated White. “I can’t wait to up with the team in North Carolina before we head to Daytona to make sure that we’ve got everything ready for action.”
Jeff McClure is also looking forward to working with White.
“I’ve known Jason for some time, working through Andy Hillenburg, and having a driver with his experience will be a big help at Daytona. I’m excited for our chances,” he stated.
White has gained valuable experience in his previous ARCA Menards Series races, finishing inside the top-20 in each event at Daytona, while claiming a personal best finish of sixth in 2020.
“We’re going there to win, simple as that,” said White. “With this new partnership with Dekt Out Marine Decking Solutions and support from our longtime backers at Zimmer Wheaton GMC and YourGMCTruckStore.com, along with Powder Ventures Excavating and working with Jeff McClure Racing, we’ve got everything we need to be there at the end for a chance to take the win”
