SUN PEAKS, BC (February 16, 2021)- The high banks and high-speed thrill ride of Daytona International Speedway have drawn Sun Peaks, BC racer Jason White back to the beach again in 2022.

Having scored top-ten finishes in both the ARCA Menards Series and Camping World Truck Series previously, White is back looking for more success at the World Center of Racing.

The Speedweek schedule change this year and means White will race in the Camping World Truck Series Friday night, prior to the ARCA Menard Series race which now runs Saturday afternoon. “It’s a lot of racing in a 24-hour period” said White. “But I’ve been training, and I feel good about our chances in both events”.

Leading off the weekend doubleheader for Jason White is the Camping World Truck Series event where he will pilot the #33 Reaume Brothers Motorsports Safety Truck. The collaboration with Reaume Brothers fits like a comfortable set of gloves for White. “These guys have gone above and beyond to work with me and have this truck handle the way I want it and so we can have success at the Superspeedways. We’re looking to better our top-ten from 2020” stated White.

Once again Jason White will drive the #10 YourGMCTrucktorestore.com car prepared by Andy Hillenburg. White finished sixth in 2020 and will drive the same car in this year’s race. “We tried a brand-new car last year and it just didn’t have enough track time to smooth out the rough edges” explained White. “So, we’ve decided to go back to the car we know, and we’re really excited about the possibilities.

Jason White’s Daytona program is also once again supported by Rob Zimmer and the Zimmer Group at YourGMCTruckstore.com. “Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do this. Rob and I go back to the start of my racing career and it’s a friendship and partnership that’s very special. I want to give them another good showing” said White.

The approach for both the Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series races is the same for White. “Be patient, be smart and be in position for that run at the end. That’s what it takes at Daytona” stated White.

On Track Schedule
