GATINEAU, QC – Nicolas Vaillant, President of Vaillant Autosports, a manufacturer of hybrid chassis and high-performance parts mainly working in the racing sector in Quebec and Ontario, is pleased to announce the nomination of Isabelle Tremblay, as general manager and partner of the company. The renowned race car driver becomes the first female co-owner of a high-performance chassis and parts manufacturing company in Quebec.
Well known in the world of Canadian automobile racing, Ms. Tremblay is also recognized for her constant support for the cause of women in all spheres of life, including motorsport racing. Vaillant Autosports intends to use Isabelle’s experience, leadership, and vision not only to help create new opportunities for the Gatineau-based company but also to promote women in a sector that is generally reserved for men.

Nicolas Vaillant has built a solid reputation in the business world in Quebec as well as in the world of motorsport as a dirt track race car driver. Endowed with a gift for entrepreneurship, Vaillant knows how to surround himself well. The company is therefore banking on Isabelle Tremblay’s drive, experience and credibility to partner with her.
“For too long we have overlooked the possibility of having more women behind the wheel in motorsport, it is time for that to change,” said Isabelle Tremblay. “My arrival at Vaillant Autosports will allow us to work in this direction. Isabelle Tremblay has a busy summer ahead of her. In addition to working with Vaillant Autosports, Ms. Tremblay also represents the Outaouais region at the international Formula Woman competition. The new GM is also the 2021 spokesperson for the Auto Show Gatineau which will take place on August 7 at Parc des Cèdres, in the Aylmer sector.
Nicolas Vaillant will also have a busy schedule in the next few months. He will be behind the wheel of the first car manufactured by Vaillant Autosports on Saturday July 24, for a second outing. The # 72 will once again display the colors of his collaborators for the 2021 season: W-Côté et fils, Interlube, Go Fuel, J.R. Brisson and OK Tire Landriault. The # 72 car will be at the Vaillant Autosports booth at the Auto Show Gatineau on Saturday August 7th in Gatineau.
